“OpenCPN for Android:  the longstanding open-source chartplotter for PCs is now available from the Google Play store.  To display wireless wind speed and direction, connect the SailTimer API to the Wind Instrument.  Then in OpenCPN go to Settings (wrench icon) – Dashboard – Preferences, then Add wind direction or wind angle (True and/or Apparent) from this menu.  You can see a wind gauge for wind angle or wind direction with vector or raster charts.”
